"TOMMY"
Thomas "Tommy" Edward Heil, Sr., 39, of Hampstead, died Sunday, March 1, 2009, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at Andrews Hampstead Chapel.
A funeral service will be 11am Thursday, March 5, 2009, at Andrews Hampstead Chapel with Rev. Dodd Mays officiating. Interment will follow in Sea Lawn Memorial Park.

Dear Dianna & Family,
My heart weeps for you guys. I know how hard it is to lose a father so young. But knowing Tommy, Him being so much like my father {his uncle George} He gave you fun times , great memories & so many LAUGHS.. Thats how ill will remember him. It didnt matter how long its been since we saw each other he could always make me laugh. I will miss him. Dont worry about him my dads gonna take good care of him up there, and even kick his butt when he needs it. I miss & love you guys, Take care of each other.

uncle tom was uncle tom there is no way how to explain that. he waz so important to me u cant understand. we allway called him top sales well uncle tom give me a few years and i will be top sale. alisha says she loves u and misses her uncle shreck. we love u and miss u dearly but one ? how the heck am i gonna learn how to sell better now? hopefullyb ur allways looking down on us we love you uncle tom,aunt cherrys kids say i love u to they miss u very much.

uncle tom was a great man. and he would always try and give when anyone needed it. he always told me if you give when someone else needed it then when you needed it it would be given back to you,he would give the shirt of your back if you needed it and he was like a 2nd dad to me he lectured me when i did something wrong and one day i wanna be the type of guy he was.

I was so glad that Tom came to see me not very long ago. Thats how I want to remember him. Tom and Wayne used to hang out together when they were younger,Sometimes that was good and sometimes it was not. Since he moved to N.C. he always called me to see how everyone was doing. He was worried about Wayne. I am so glad Tom got to see him.My heart hurts when I think about Tom and his family, but I know that they will be loved and taken care of by their uncles and their PaPa. No one should have to see a loved one go away so young and so suddenly, and no parent should have to bury a child.I love you all. AUNTIE "J"

It's often hard to tell a person how you feel about them or more often there's never enough time.
You came into my life without notice just another one of Robin's kids and have left with sudden shock.I'm sorry to hear of your passing. Its seems like yesterday ~I can see you guys sitting at the table passing barbs at each other. You, Chuck ,Dewayne and Uncle Harry.We don't pick our family members they just one day enter our lives and leave a lasting impression.You are one! I thank you Tommy for being so good to my sister Robin, I know you mean so much to her.
