Harry Papagikos Obituary
He was born in Manchester, NH, on June 28, 1947, to the late Harry Alex Papagikos, Sr. and the late Anna Frances Cate.
He is an alumnus of Hawthorne High School, Ventura College, and California State University at Northridge in California. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1975. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; and two sons, Michael Alex Papagikos, M.D. of Wilmington, and Steven Scott Papagikos of High Point. In addition to his wife and sons, he is survived by two grandsons; a sister; an aunt; an uncle; and several cousins including his loving cousin Mary Hilsdale.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a 4th degree Knight of Columbus.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to those that cared for Harry, including the physicians and nurses of Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Hanover Medical Specialists, New Hanover Radiation Oncology, and the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
A memorial mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, High Point, NC on Saturday, April 28, at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 725 Wellington Avenue, Wilmington, NC 28407.

Papagikos Family...Although we have never met, I wish to express my condolences on Harry's passing. We knew each other througout high school and played together on the water polo team. He was always a fun guy to be around.
