I used to visit Sita (Beatrice's sister) every week and then the Coronavirus made it impossible as Sita is in a nursing home. Beatrice was and continues to be Sita's world. Beatrice's music, kindness and memory will always be with us. May you rest in peace.

We were close friends while I worked in Baghdad as an architect. We (my wife, my friend Panos and myself) attended her concerts, exhanged visits in our houses, met with her parents and brother (when he came to Baghdad for the funeral of their father), and of course her sister Sita. We have had a wonderful time together, as a family, her mother talking of her memories in Athens, and so much more. We will never forget our friend Beatrice.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the death of Beatrice Ohanessian.
I have known her long time ago; since I was a student in the Elementary school.
I used to go to her home a couple of times, with my eldest sister, for piano lessons. Those lessons brought into my life a lot of joy and excitements.
I have always admired her dedication to her work which she carried out with a high level of professionalism.
My condolences to her family, may God...

I am saddened to learn of Beatrice's passing more than a year after it has taken place. She was a friend, teacher, mentor, and co-worker; but most importantly, a beautiful person. We met by chance through non-musical channels, but when she learned of my musical background, and I of hers, an immediate bond was formed. I had the great honor of studying with her for a short period of time in her home, and only regret that I didn't continue for much longer. My belated condolences go out to...

When I studied with Beatrice I felt I was introduced to a new perspective not only in music but also in life. She was humble and lovely. I am a better person and pianist for having known her. My condolences to Sita, thank you for welcoming me into your home for lessons with Beatrice.
