I worked with Katie when I was employed at US West. She was a joy to work with and was so passionate about the folks that she represented in the CWA. I will never forget her!

Katie and I only worked indirectly together, but we always stopped to say hi in the hallways or skyways. I'll miss her smiling face!

So many things to say, so few words to express how Katie positively worked to help others. I got to know Katie at bargaining with Qwest in 1998 and would irritate her daily by singing her a tune. I'll always remember how she would roll her eyes yet give a little smile at the same time. A true loss for all of us. I'm still singing to ya Katie.

To the friends, family members, and loved ones of Katie Coleman - I extend my deepest sympathy and condolences. Although I haven't been at QWEST since 2000, it's been heartbreaking to read of the passing of two wonderful employees these past two weeks -- Katie and Lois Wolden.
May they both continue to walk in the light of peace and love of those that will miss them deeply.

I knew Katie as a formidable, and respectful, chief steward in the Mpls BGS. She was a tireless champion of the people. I was truly shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. She will be greatly missed.

I had the opportunity to work with Katie when she came to Seattle to help with re-engineering. Her humor helped all of us get thru some very difficult times. She always put the members first and fought tirelessly for all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Thank you for sharing her life with all of us for so long.

To Friends and Family of Katie Coleman.
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Katie in the 90's as a union steward for local #7200. She was my chief steward at the time. She was a tireless defender of union members rights. You always knew Katie had your back. She was tough but she had a great sense of humor . She always fought the good fight.
God Bless you Katie,

Dear Coleman Family,
You have my deepest sympathy at this very sad time. Katie was my friend for almost all of her 25 years at Qwest. We worked together but more importantly, we were close friends outside of work too. May your memories of her love of family, compassion, and humor, carry you through the next few days and beyond. I am keeping you all in my prayers.

To the Family of Katie:
I wish to express my deepest sympathy for loss of your sister and aunt. Katie, or Coleman as we affectionately called her, will be greatly missed. I have know her for about 25 years and will always smile when I think about our younger and wilder days when we would all hang out together. And of course I will always remember those Fourth of July weekends we spent in Detroit Lakes. In recent years we did not spend a lot of time hanging out together but I would see Katie several times a week when we were coming and going at work. I will miss hearing “Hey Morales, how are ya?” every time I saw her.
My deepest sympathy
