Rowe Bowen Obituary
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Gary Floyd of John's Creek, Ga.; a granddaughter, Ashley Stapleton of John's Creek, Ga.; a son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Rosita Bowen of Turlock, Calif.; and their children, Danny (Wendy) and Andrea Bowen, all of Turlock, Calif.; three great-grandchildren, a stepdaughter, Carolyn Clark of Augusta, Ga.; a brother and sister-in-law, Neal and Betty Bowen of Register, Ga.; and a sister, Mickie Kennedy of Gainesville, Ga.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.
The graveside service, with military honors, will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the Lower Lott's Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Jack Anderson officiating.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Georgia Lions Camp for the Blind, 5626 Laura Walker Road, Waycross, Ga. 31503.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your dad, grandad and father-in-law. I developed a great admiration and respect for RD for the short time that I knew him. He was a great man to all that knew him and will be deeply missed. Carry him in your hearts forever.
