Scott Licata Obituary

LICATA, Scott Lorin, 37, of Fishersville, Va., died Saturday July 1, 2006, at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Born December 3, 1968, in Silver Spring, Md., he was the son of Ginger Moller and Peter Licata. Scott served in the Persian Gulf War aboard the USS Richmond K. Turner while on active duty in the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Alecia L. Licata; two sisters, Cindy Licata, her children Rebekah and Kacey Dzidek, her fiance, John Roberts III, and his son, John Roberts IV, and Katie Bengaard and her husband, Erik; his brother, Brian Licata, and his fiancee, Jessica Ford; his grandmother, Caroline Moller; brother, Andrew Licata; stepsisters, Jacqueline and Heather Giddings; stepmother, Elaine Licata; his in-laws, Steven and Sandra Wolfe, and William and Sandra Geiger, and their children William Geiger and his wife, Diane, and Larry Geiger and his wife, Yvette, and their children, Matt, Joey and Samantha; and his beloved poodles, Rumsey and Perry. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
