Jim was a dear friend of mine from childhood through high school years. We even attended the same elementary school in first and second grades in Palm Springs in 1944. We really became "pals" and tried to stay in touch throughout our lives, but most importantly, reunited the last year of his life. This was quite a gift to me. I will miss Jim. My family and I send our condolences to Dawn, Heidi, and Christopher.
