My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Miss Edith. I know of her unending kindness and thoughtfulness through her Godson, Charles who always spoke very highly of her with much love and affection in his voice. He often told me that Miss Edith was his heart. While I regret that I will never meet her here on earth, I rejoice with her as she takes her place in the house of the Lord.
Again, my thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
Love, Toni

My condolences to the family of Mrs. Bowman. I've known Mrs. Bowman since I was a child and she was one of the positive influences of growing up in Washinton Park where neighbors cared. I, as well as most who knew her, was privileged to taste the best cakes in the world! Mrs. Bowman was a sweet lady and I know she is resting in peace.

To the family of Mrs Bowman. I am so sorry for your lost. I have such fond childhood memories of Mr and Mrs Bowman. They were very good friends of my Mom and Dad and we lived two doors down from them. I will always remember the special cakes she would bake for our Birthdays. My favorites were the German Chocolate and Lemon Pound Cake. What a sweet and thoughtful person she was. I will always cherish my memories of her and know that you have your own to hold dear to your heart.
Sincerely
Shari Monroe (daughter of James and Ernestine Monroe)
