Joyce and family, it has been a decade since I spoke with Virginia. She called me after my Mama, Smitty, had passed and helped me to go down "memory lane". We were neighbors in Bellmeade Apts. 40 years ago. As it happens so much, we had lost contact with each other. I did see her one evening at Richmond Ford where she was an operator. She truly loved her family and was a friend to all that met her.

To my dear friend Virginia,
My many thanks for your caring and so thoughtful friendship.Forty two years we have shared our familes, our everyday lives, our going and coming. We worked together at Regal for 26 years. There are so many memories and so much that we could talk about for eternity. I will miss you so much, but I know God has a very special place in Heaven for you now, and you are outshining them all with your outstanding wit and outgoing smile that will always stay with me.

I would like to extend my sympathy to all the family, friends and love ones. She was like a "big mother" to us all. God bless each of you at this time.
Sincerely with love
Marian Irving

Dear Ginny: Even though you have left us in the physical world, I know you are still watching from above and will guide us all thru the ruff days ahead. You were not only my aunt; we were great friends and I hope you will rest in peace. Please tell those in heaven that we miss them all and I will always miss "my Hazel". The family is grieving as am I but you are never far from my thoughts and heart. All the friends you shared your life with will always remember the "sweet but tuff" lady that kept us all in line. I will miss you always.
