Ken was a dedicated father and grandfather, "Gramps" to his grandchildren: Matthew's six children-Benjamin, Nathaniel, Rebecca, Annabelle, Sarah, and Joey-and Joshua's three daughters, Laila, Grace, and Harper. He is also mourned by his sister, Karen Hodge. niece, Michelle Scumaci McLaughlin and preceded in death by his beloved dog, Dottie.
Throughout his life, Ken was a passionate world traveler, always eager to explore and build friendships along the way. He spent his recent years at peace enjoying his espresso in the Blue Ridge Mountain river life.
In accordance with Ken's wishes, there will be no formal service. Instead, the family encourages everyone to remember him fondly and to live each day as if it were their last.
