He is survived by his daughters, Carrie Hall (Fiancé Charles Farlow) and Robin S. Foster; Sons and daughters-in-law, Levon Lloyd, Jr., David G. Shepherd (Nancy), Eric N. Shepherd (Melissa), and Matthew J. Shepherd (Samantha); sister, Barbara Shepherd Ratliff; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted, Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 2:30 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in the Piedmont cemetery in Shawsville. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 pm, prior to the service on Sunday, November 23, 2025.
