Donald Ray "Donnie" Pyles, 51, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away on November 11th, 2025, in Land O'Lakes, Florida. Born on July 11th, 1974, in Radford, Virginia, Donnie was the beloved son of Ray Pyles and Faye Pyles.

Donnie dedicated over 30 years of his life to helping others in the healthcare field. His compassion, kindness, and steady presence touched countless lives. Outside of his work, he found joy in traveling and seeing the world, always seeking new places, cultures, and experiences. Donnie was also a proud and accomplished runner who completed multiple marathons throughout his life-a testament to his determination, strength, and commitment to personal growth.

Above all, Donnie cherished spending time with his family and grandchildren. His favorite holiday was Christmas, when he delighted in the excitement and happiness of his kids, grandchildren, and friends.

He is survived by his fiancé, Dennis Vicente; his children, Samuel Pyles (Trisha Pyles), Jonathan Pyles, Sarah Pyles (Garrett Hash) and his grandchildren, Alex Pyles, Sophia Hash, and Jayden Holt. Donnie is also survived by his siblings, Lori Niday, Donna Church, Tonya Pyles, and wife Jill.

Donnie's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones, who will continue to honor his legacy of love, service, adventure, and generosity.

Yesterday

My sincere condolences to your family. Though I never met Donald, it was a privilege to work with you on some of his arrangements. What I´ve learned in that interaction with you is that Donald was an accomplished and amazing person; and he has such a wonderful family. I truly wish I could have known him in life. My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with each of you.

Kind Regards,
Jonathan W
