Stella Pyles Obituary

Stella served in the Air Force for 2 years. She also retired from the Tennessee Technology Center following 27 years of service. She was a kind and selfless spirit and was really ready to help anyone in need. She helped out at Price Public Community Center for 3 years. Stella was a member of Russell Chapel Church where she was always willing to work in the kitchen. Stella also loved her happy place, which was sitting in her porch.
She was preceded in death by her son; Wallace Pyles, parents, 4 brothers; Lawrence, Ed, Donnie and Charles, 2 sisters; Shirley Looney and Dorothy Ewing.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter; Kilia, son; Christopher Pyles, brother; Jim Brice, grandchildren; Lamont, Christopher, Alexus, and Dominic, special friend; Jeany White and family, host of nieces and nephews.
A special thank you for all the friends and family for their support throughout this entire journey. You all have been amazing and mom was truly blessed and she cherished you all. Also thank you so much for the VA in Johnson City and UT Hospice for the smooth transition, and the many condolences and prayers received.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm 1:00 pm Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Pamela Hoard officiating. Internment will follow at Mitchell Crest Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.christiansells.com
