Mr. Toney hired me as a driver for Wyatt Transfer. My first truck driving job. Although Mr. Toney and I didn't see eye to eye at times, he was great to work with and had a great heart! May God be with his family and give them peace in their time of need. God Bless

To the family of JT. I was informed of JT's passing today from a friend who emailed me to share the late news. I was in the frat with JT and was his DP. He was a pleasant and calm person and great to be around. I lost touch with him when I graduated from VUU. May his love for his family continue through the loving spirit of our Lord Jesus. May the peace of God grant you power to live in peace.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of JT. We were classmates at VUU and neighbors when we moved off campus and he had a quiet demeanor about him, always upbeat and just an all around good man. My sympathies go out to his family. He will be missed.

Carol, Faye & Wil,

We were truly saddened when we heard of John's passing. My husband & I were on vacation and learned of his passing through Pam & Ayah, it was a shock but we were glad that we arrived back home in time for such a wonderful homegoing. My husband was one of those people that John hired at Wyatt and gave an opportunity to drive one of those big Rigs when he relocated back to Virginia from Georgia and also later he hired my brother in law (wildman). He will always be in our hearts as a truly giving person. Faye & Carol you will always be connected to the family through our church family and Ayah. Please know that we are only a phone call away. God bless you and continue to give you strength.

Sincerly

Even though this is probably the most difficult time of your lives right now, God has blessed you with many years of great memories with JT. John was (and always will be in our hearts) a great personality, friendly, easy to talk with, etc. I worked with him on & off for several years in dispatch and never had words with him...He was a great man and will continue that in heaven...from the look on his face during visitation I can personally guarantee that he is playing the 18th hole with Payne Stewart and my uncle and JT is winning...Just keep alive all your memories and remember now and always ya'll have your own personal angel looking out for all of you. Our prayers are with you during this trying time...If ya'll need anything, now matter how big or small, please contact us at home or work...We really miss John--walking into dispatch will never be the same, but it does make me feel better knowing he is playing the game of his life and will always be looking in on his family...love, jill & marty coltrain & kids

I worked with John for 13 years at Wyatt, and I have never met a more honorable, decent, careing human being. He helped mentor me through many of my most difficult monents in life. Through his faith, he helped me carry on. I have used his words of wisdon in every day life, and think of him and his great big smile often. I know that I am a better person because he touched my life. My deepest condolences to Carol and the children. He told me many times in the past that his greatest love other than God was his family. He will be remembered with love and dearly missed.

To the Family,
There is not a lot that we can said about losing a love one that can really make you feel better. However, there is one thing we have learned in Bible Study that makes since as to why God lets life events happen as they do. It is TRUST and to keep LOVING GOD. You will see, understand and be able to cop more even in the dark. Nevertheless, Focus, Trust and Love.... Give it all to GOD and See. We all know that John was a good man, who LOVED the LORD and how he loved, cherished and was so very proud of you all. We will lift you up in our prayers.
