I only had the pleasure of talking to Mildred on the phone a few times when visiting at my father's (Lawrence Wright) house. She seemed to call him often to chat and was a great friend to him over the years. He has always been fond of Mildred and he will miss their friendship.

Mildred was a dear friend . She taught me a lot about true friendship . Her love for her flower gardens was her strength in life. She will be dearly missed and I have been blessed to have known her.

So sorry about Mildred's passing. I was very fond of Mildred and thought she was such a fun and happy person. I will miss her. Just remember, when someone you love becomes a memory, their memory becomes a treasure. I will always remember Mildred.
