WOODSON, Clarence Boyd, 98, formerly of 1202 N. 1st Street, entered eternal life August 9, 2008. He is survived by three daughters, Virginia Dickerson, Gladys Woodson, Mary Cooley; two stepsons, Willie, John (Chantell) Robinson; 14 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; one sister, Annie Bland; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, among them, devoted Annie Beard. Family will receive friends Thursday, 7 to 8 p.m., at the Brunson's Funeral Chapel, 1st and Federal Streets. Homegoing services will be held Friday, 1 p.m., at Triumphant Baptist Church, 2003 Lamb Ave. Dr. Arthur Jones, pastor. Rev. Delores Seay officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Robert M. Brunson Sr. and Jr., directors.

I will always remember Mr. Woodson as one of the best Ushers at Triumphant Baptist Church. He taught me alot & always greet everybody the same with a warm smile. I remember our talks about your father and how your eyes sparkle as we talk about the things he did. I am sending you and your family my deepest sympathy and prayers. I know his memories will live on in the lives of each you.

I will miss you Uncle Clarence. I will always remember seeing and greeting you at the family reunions and hearing you say the following whenever I greeted you: "Hey there Little Hannie. You look just like your daddy." Hearing you say those words meant the world to me. Rest in peace Uncle Clarence.
