Fred Johnson Obituary

JOHNSON, Fred E., of North Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Richmond, Va., has gone to rest with God on August 10, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; his children, Linda Martin, Kathy Page and husband, Dennis, Michael Johnson, Karen Johnson; four grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a host of beloved friends. Fred served his country during the Korean War and retired from the City of Richmond. He enjoyed coaching Little League baseball and sailing on the Rappahannock River and traveling the world with the Friendship Force. Memorial service will be held at Shady Grove United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 16 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, Fla. 33908 or the Alzheimer's Association.
