CAMPBELL, Coral Franklin, 94, of Richmond, a native of Charlotte, N.C., died Thursday, August 14, 2008. Preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Christine Scott Campbell, he is survived by his daughter, Christine Campbell Ray; son-in-law, Theodore S. Ray of Richmond, Va; sister, Edith C. Corry of Charleston, S.C. Mr. Campbell attended UNC Chapel Hill, relocated to Atlanta, Ga., founding the Convenient Products Company, a food brokerage introducing and successfully marketing specialty frozen food products, several of which are still sold in grocery stores today. Family will receive friends 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Bliley's-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elmwood Cemetery, Charlotte, N.C. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of Hope Health Center, 13700 North Gayton Rd., Richmond, Va. 23233.
