I first meet Howard over forty yeaars ago through Bob's Hobby Center where I worked. We kept up a life long friendship ever since. He always lettered all my race cars and helmets only charging for his materials. He said he could not charge a friend for helping him. Howard was devoted to his country and his religion. He gave willingly to the Holicost Museum through his model building skills. He also was a friend to Beth Shalome nursing home, where his mother had been cared for ,long after her passing. Above all Howard was a Gentleman. You will be missed. May the Lord grant you eternal peace.

To the Family & Friends: We were all shocked and saddened to hear of Howard's sudden passing. Howard was a kind and gentle man who helped our Fire-Rescue Department in Goochland County on a number of occassions. He lettered most all of our ambulances, staff cars, and some fire engines. He was a very talented and gifted business man. I always enjoyed visiting the shop or speaking to him by phone. You could always count on Howard to produce quality and attractive work. Goochland County Fire-Rescue Department extends our deepest sympathy to the Family and Friends. Howard will be dearly missed on a number of levels to include personal and professional. He was not only a genuine & fair business man, but also a true friend to our organizaion. Respectfully Submitted, Eddie Ferguson, Deputy Chief of EMS, Goochland County Fire-Rescue Department

I will miss Howard but will always keep in my heart the memory of a gentle and talented man. He was devoted to Della and his little dog Ginger. I fondly remember his visits with Ginger to our office. Go rest high on that mountain. Your work on earth is done.

Be comforted in knowing that God is with you during this difficult time and that there are friends that also share your sorrow with you. I find Psalm 121 to be very comforting during these times.
