DODSON, Robert Booker, age 77, of Richmond, formerly of Lancaster, departed this life Friday, August 15, 2008 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Margaret T. Dodson. He is survived by his son, Robert B. Dodson Jr.; daughter, Paige H.D. Roberts and her husband, Scott J. Roberts; grandson, Robert T. Dodson, each of Richmond; brother, John O. Dodson and his wife, Sybil; numerous nieces and nephews, and many other beloved family and friends. Family will receive friends Tuesday, August 19, 2008 from 11 a.m. to noon at Colonial Place Christian Church, 1200 N. Parham Rd., with a memorial service to follow. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to Colonial Place Christian Church, or a charity of your choice.
