Lois, you and Grace will always have a special place in my heart. You took interest in everyone and were always there when we needed a friend. Everyone needs someone to talk to and you really listened. You always spoke kindley of everyone and could turn tears to laughter. Your teaching continued long after you left school. You are in Gods hands now. No more sickness. No more suffering. Just rest until your resurrection.

Mrs. Martin, you will be missed by a lot of former Powhatan students and by your community that you served so well. You were always an inspiration to those that you came in contact with. Your kind and giving ways will live on in the hearts of those you have touched with kindness.
