Frances Heisch Obituary

Published by Richmond Times-Dispatch on Aug. 19, 2008.
HEISCH, Frances E., with great sadness the family of Frances E. Heisch announces her passing on August 16th, 2008. Our beloved Mother has left a legacy of nurturing love that will stay with us for all time. Her life began May 5, 1910 and spanned 98 years of family growth including three children, Joanne H. Livingston, Marion F. Hartwick and John M. Heisch; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Born Frances Field, the daughter of minister Frank Field and Percy Field in Toledo Ohio, she married John V. Heisch in 1932 and provided our family a life time of perfect Christian guidance and love. Her devotion to her sisters and mother will also serve as our guiding example of the Christian path to everlasting life with Christ in the presence of God. As a devoted Christian, she was a member of churches in Pittsburgh, Pa. and St. Petersburg, Florida where she loved to sing in the choir with her husband. Most recently she was a member of the Richmond River Road Baptist Church. Our family would like to thank the staff of Westminster Canterbury for their years of devoted and loving care. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 23 in the chapel of Westminster Canterbury, 1600 Westbrook Ave., Richmond, Va. 23227. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Westminster Canterbury Foundation Fellowship Fund, 1600 Westbrook Ave., Richmond Va. 23227.
