I had not seen Mr. Taylor in years but I will never forget him. He was always so full of joy and laughter. He would do anything for anybody. I am honored to have known Mr. Taylor, he was a wonderful person. My deepest sympathy to his family, I know you will miss him dearly but he is in a better place.

Gene, I am so sad that you have lost your dad. I have known him for many years, dating back my teens when he and my mom worked together at B&L. Always know how very special you were to him and the wonderful memories you will have. Ashland has lost one of it's finest.

Gene was such a part of my childhood on Snead Street. I have many fond memories of playing in the "side yard". I will miss seeing him.
I am so sorry that I am out of town this week and will be unable to see you all. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
