Dear Scott and Elaine:

I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Garrett, Tracy and I have such fond memories of our times together and of gatherings at your house for Thanksgiving and your mother's wonderful cooking.

With her Southern grace and charm, she was a beautiful person, inside and out.

Our thoughts are with you and your families.

Love, Timi

Dear Scott and Elaine,
I was very sorry to read in the Miami Herald that your mom had passed away in Richmond. You may recall that we were neighbors for several years on Santa Maria and you knew my children, Cole and Gail

Your mom and I shared good times, carpools to St. Stephens, and many Junior League meetings! I was sorry to lose contact with her when she moved to Virginia and I hope that she had many happy times with her sisters.

Elaine, Gail and her husband, Fielding Douthat, have moved back to Richmond and perhaps you and Gail will have to opportunity to see each other again.

Once again, you all are in my thoughts and I will always have fond memories of your lovely mother.

Scott and Elaine,

A Miami friend forwarded me your mom's obituary today and it saddened me to read it. I am Bob and Maurine Mitchell's daughter (my mom and Perry were brother and sister), it has been many, many years since we've seen one another, but please accept my heartfelt condolences. I live in Yorktown, VA, and would love to get in touch with you.

Dear Elaine and Scott- I am so saddened to hear about your mother's passing. Just remember, that even in sad times, there will always be those happy memories- such as those that brought us all together at St. Stephens: Carpool! Just think tennis outfits, station wagons, slurpees, and the shenanigans that made our moms survivors and great. I can't imagine what sorrow you may feel, but please know that you both are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Anne Crowder Gordon

Dear, Dear Elaine and Scott,

Although your beautiful mother has been away from Miami for some time, I have thought of her often and fondly over the years. She was always dear and sweet to Bud and me, not only while the two of you were my students, but long after that, as well. She included us many times at parties, on the boat, and around the dinner table with just us.

You both know that you have always held a special place in my heart, as did your mother, and you always will. Bud joins me in sending you all our love and prayers at this sad time.

May God bless you, Scott and Elaine, as you remember and honor your sweet mother. We share your sadness.

With all our love,
Betty and Bud Park
