It will be one year tomorrow. Time heals all wounds is true, however the hole that is in our hearts because you are not physically here is still open and still longs for your presence. You are forever in our memories.

No matter how many times I'm confronted with the death of a friend, it's never easy. Al has finally made it over and he leaves a tremendous legacy with all of us. Very few people know just how much he did for others and how he touched you with a word or a song. I am truly greatful that our paths crossed and that I had the privilege of sharing as his former pastor. Family, please know that I care and that I am just a call away.

Audrey, Shaun, Ray Ray, Renita, and Al's "Boogaloo"--

It's hard to believe he's gone...but thank God for memories-and we all have plenty. He revolutionized 90's music...told us how little we knew about life...and showed us what a real man was. Although we obviously didn't take all of his advice, it's definitely stuck with us, and one day Tash--we'll get it right!

May he rest in peace. I love you guys!

To the entire Christian Family my sincere condolences on the passing of your father, son, uncle, husband and friend. Alfred is a very special person. I remember sitting on my Grandmother's porch (his Aunt Gracie)and hearing his voice carried over the corn fields as he and his brothers worked the fields with their father. He always sang for the Lord. May your spirit find comfort in knowing that he has gone to a better place and now singing in a holy choir. God bless you all.

God looked upon earth and saw a wonder song bird and decided that his great voice was needed in Heaven's choir and called Uncle Alfred home. Uncle Alfred will be greatly missed here on earth, but one day I pray to meet him in Heaven with all of our other family members that have gone on. Many of the songs that he sang run though my mind; "Fix It Jesus", "Cooling Water", "Clean up", "Peace In The Mist Of A Storm" and many more. I ask the Holy Spirit to wrap loving arms around to comfort Aunt Audrey, Shaun, A'tasha, Raymond,Sr. & Raymond,Jr. & Renita. Also brothers, sisters & other relatives at this time! Lee Lee

To cousin Audrey and Family:
I just heard of the news of Al's passing. to say the least it was such a shock. Al was indeed a very special child of God. He touched the lives of so many, especially with his music ministry. He was a loving and fun individual.
Words seem so inadequate to express our thoughts at a time like this, but be assured you are in our prayers. May God continue to wipe your tears away and restore your joy.
Lovingly,
Gay, Linda, & Brenda and the whole gang
