Albert Massey Obituary

MASSEY, Albert T., of Richmond, departed this life August 22, 2008 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, H.T. Massey and Mary Massey of Irvington, Va. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynda; devoted son, Mark, and his fiancee, Kelly, of Midlothian; stepson, Timothy Spraker and his wife, Sharon, of Covington, Va., and their children, Samantha, Christopher, and Felicia; brother, John and his wife, Shirley, of Williamsburg, Va.; sister, Mary Massey-Gibson and her husband, Robert, of Weems, Va.; sister, Emma Fenzel of Plano, Texas; and six nephews and one niece. Albert was a retired state employee at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and also an avid baseball fan, especially the Baltimore Orioles. The family would like to thank St. Mary's Hospital's ICU nurses and doctors for their genuine support and compassion during this very difficult time. The family requests that any memorial contributions be made to Bon Secours Hospice. A private graveside service will be held in Irvington, Va.
