Mary D. Lewis

LEWIS, Mrs. Mary D., 87, of Richmond, departed this life August 24, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie H. Lewis. She is survived by one daughter, Joyce McDougald; three sons, Charles Jr., Larry and Reginald Lewis; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one brother, Wellington Duncan of St. Thomas, V.I.; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Shirann and Donna Lewis; one son-in-law, James McDougald; one sister-in-law, Rita Duncan of St. Thomas, V.I.; and other relatives and friends, among them three devoted, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Williams, and her caregiver, Robinette Thomas. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 12 noon. Rev. Robert C. Davis officiating. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 11:45 a.m. Thursday.
