Kenneth "Kenny" Allen Lewis, 47, of Belleville, IL, born July 13, 1978, in Belleville, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Kenny was a 1996 graduate of Collinsville High School. He was known for his warm spirit, his love of simple joys, and the happiness he found in the everyday moments of life. He especially enjoyed eating out and could never pass up a good Chinese buffet. One of his favorite traditions was attending the Maryville Fireman's Picnic each year, where he delighted in riding the carnival rides, most of all the swings.

At home, Kenny cherished listening to his collection of music CDs and watching movies. He will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle nature, and the special light he brought to those who knew and loved him.

Kenny is survived by his parents, Steven and Rebecca (nee Nicol) Lewis; a sister, Sara (Matthew Craine) Lewis of Mitchell, IL; two nephews: Karter (which is also Kenny's godson) and Kai; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL. A service will follow at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Keith Bond. Inurnment will take place at Valhalla Cemetery in Belleville, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Residential Options and will be received at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
