WILLIAMS, Frances Doyle, 80, of Midlothian, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2008. A native of Emporia, Va., she is survived by her loving husband, L. Carl Williams Jr.; sons, Matthew Carl Williams and wife, Susan, and Allen Doyle Williams; grandson, Geoffrey Matthew Williams and wife, Lizabeth; a great-grandchild, Logan Ashleigh Williams; and a sister, Mary D. Newsome. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Pkwy., Chesterfield, Va., Friday, August 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. Her funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel, with interment at 3 p.m. in Greensville Memorial Cemetery, Emporia, Va. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to Brandermill Church Music Program, 4500 Millridge Pkwy., Midlothian, Va. 23112.

Carl, I am very sorry so for your loss. Yesterday we also lost Mary. I am so glad that I was able to bring Mary over to see Frances while she was in the hosp. the first time. May you feel the comfort and peace thru your faith in God.
Now they are together for all time.
