I remember Bernice's smile and her sweet, kind and fun disposition, as my mother (Michaux Taylor) and Bernice were always very close friends at Battery Park. (Actually your family and mine were all good friends at Battery Park for many years.) My mother and Bernice shared many special times and served on numerous committees at Battery Park, and shared, as well, their love of flowers and plants. I'm so sorry for your loss and feel as though I have lost a member of my family. I have to say, tho, as I think about your mother, I smile. She was always smiling. What a sweet and kind lady always.
Love & thoughts to you all,
MARY ALICE HADEN FOSTER
