To the family of Jean Brooks: I was so sorry to learn of your loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Brooks for many years (as one of her co-workers). In addition, I will remember her for her tireless efforts as a worker at my voting precinct. Her happiness was contagious; she had an unforgettable smile, and was loved and respected by all who knew her. She will be truly missed.

To Ms. Jean Brooks;
To be absent in the earth is to be present with the Lord. Your smile would light up the world. I remember the stories you told of when you were a little girl. Thank you for sharing them with me.
