Jack Robertson Obituary

ROBERTSON, Jack M., of Gum Springs, Va., was born August, 3, 1931 in Roanoke Va. and passed away on August 27, 2008 at Henrico Doctors Hospital. Mr. Robertson was a retired nurse with over 20 years of service with H.C.A. He retired from the Army Reserves as a SFC E7 after 20 plus years of service. He will be laid to rest at the Amelia Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. He is survived by his son, Randell Atkins; his daughter-in-law, Judith Atkins; his nephew, Tony Hall; and his niece, Debby Grey. He will be missed by all who knew him, for he had a giving heart. The family will receive friends at Woody's Funeral Home, Parham and Three Chopt Roads, Wednesday, September 3, 2008 from 6 to 8 pm.

Jack I didn't know you very long or very well, but I know that Rick loved you as a Father and that you were a good Father and Grandfather! You were so kind to Katherine and Emily, sending them so many gifts and accepting them as your adopted Grand-daughters. I know that you had a good heart and I pray that you are at peace with our Lord.
