Bettie, I will never forget your contagious laughter, your delicious food, and your devotion to your family and friends. While I will miss you, I know you are in a better place where there is no more suffering and pain. You were my friend for 30 years and I will never forget you.

Dear Bettie,
Who would have imagined that in 1986 our lives would change forever. As a recent graduate from High School I signed up for a temp agency at the mall because “it would make Mom and Dad happy”. Little did I know that I would go to work the very next Monday; and for a young Mechanicsville Girl the mortgage business was an interesting place.
So many stories that would take a lifetime to tell, like - “she can’t stand me”, the "Sophia Loren" eye and “Insubordination” to laughing hysterically and surviving High on the Hog. These times would begin to develop a friendship and a sense of family that nothing can compare. Though not a true “love story” - it is in its own right. Rascal Flats sings “…God blessed the broken road, that led me straight to you….” - I cannot help but to think of us. You have meant so much to me, and my family over the years; and will continue to be such an important part of our lives.
I cannot imagine what it will be like to not have you a phone call away; but, I know you will cherish every moment that you are blessed to have with our Lord and your loved ones that have gone before us.
Robbie keeps coaching me that everything will be okay & that one day we will be together again. I can only smile because he is such a wonderful man and knows how very much we all love each other.
I need for you to know that I will be okay, no matter what the tears may say. You deserve such happiness and I am so happy for you to be close to our Lord. It is time for you to rest.
Always know you are just a thought and prayer away. We love you so very much and feel blessed to have shared so many years so closely. Although distance may separate us, our caring and love keep us as close as we have always been. One day we shall meet again and I cannot wait to feel your arms around me.
We love you so very much,
Sheila, Robbie, Bryan and Kahlyn

Thea and Aleta,
I remember you when you would visit my brother, Bill Andrews. Your mother was very kind and a special person. She will be sincerely missed.
