LEE, John Oswald Moss, 79, of Blackstone, Va., died Saturday, September 6, 2008 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Helene Thompson Lee; two sons, John O. "Jay" Lee Jr. and his wife, Terri, and David W. Lee; three grandchildren, C.J., Amanda and Nick Lee; his brother, Richard H. Lee and his wife, Mary Eva, all of Blackstone. He was a retired captain of the Virginia Army National Guard and also Garrett Moon and Pool Inc. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Road, Bus. Hwy. 460. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 8 at the Crenshaw United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
