To Ira and Tracey,
I never met your Aunt Doris, but you always spoke so lovingly of her. Allow your minds to rest peacefully knowing you loved her and she knew it. You took care of her and attended to her to the very end. May God continue to bless you as she now sits happily with our Lord.

You are missed so much.
Don’t think of her as gone away
Her journey’s just begun
Life holds so many facets
This earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
That we could know today
How nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away.
And think of her as living
In the hearts of those she touched….
For nothing loved is ever lost –
And she was loved so much.
Good Night Aunt Doris.

Aunt Doris you will be missed .... God has you in his kingdom now and you can rest peacefully ........God looked down on your body,
So tired from hanging on,
From a life that was overwhelming you,
And wanted back His daughter
So he took away the air you breathe,
And gave you what was best,
A place to be at peace,
A final place to rest.

To Ira and family: My heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with you as you celebrate the homegoing of a great lady. Doris was God's gift to many in her church and her community. Christ's peace be with you all.
