With heavy hearts and heads hung low for our angel here on Earth has been called home to glory. I know she is in good hands and all her pain is gone and for that our sadness is no more. I wish we had a few more moments to spend with her but I know this is not good bye because we will meet again. Thank you for the blessings that you brought to me and my family. Your love and kindness will be engraved in our lives forever and always

Maxine,
You have my deepest sympathy during this time of loss. Your mother was truly a soldier in the army of the Lord who has gone on to get her heavenly reward. She made an impact on everyone she met with her sweet spirit, willingness to help in whatever way she could, and warm smile. Cherish the memories that will live on in your heart for the days to come.

Maxine
You probably don't remember me, but I have fond memories of your mother when she was superintendent of sunday school at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. We worked closely together and I always had the greatest respect for Mrs. Tate and I have sweet memories of Mrs. Tate that I will forever cherish May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Maxine, it was a privilege to know your mother-a non-nonsense woman devoted to Christ. I enjoyed our relationship at 31st Street and Faith Community as well as bible studies in her home. She impacted my life. In addition, I know how much she loved you and her grandbabies. I know you will miss her being present in your life. However, cherish your memories and live out her legacy of faith in God that she lhas left to you and your entire family.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I remember her smile and always having a kind spirit. She will be missed. For the Joy of the Lord is your strength. Knowing that she is with the Lord will always bring joy.

To the family of Barbara Tate,
the lost of grandma tate come as sudden suprise to me and my family. we will miss her dearly she was the my rock so many times in so many ways, she was more like a grandmother to jonayah hicks than a childcare provider. ms tate was a dear friend to when i needed her the most she was ALWAYS willing to lend her helping hands or her listening ear always ending in a comforting prayer and words of encourgement.words can't express the loss we're feeling right now. God called mama home to be with him and one thing i've learned from mama was that "we never know when that time is coming so we should always have our house in order and live life by his will". God took home an angel indeed and i know that she's resting, smiling, and giving him all the glory and praise and looking down on each and every one she left behind with a smile of rejoice for she's still here with us still praying us on. I love her for her and everything that she has done not only for me but my child and she did it all with open arms and a open heart she gave all that she came in contact with that "agape" love.
MS.TATE YOU WILL BE MISSED DEARLY AND WITHOUT YOU AT MY SIDE SO MANY TIMES I WOULD HAVE LOST THE WAY AND FOR THAT I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU!!!!" May God bless the Tate family and we will keep you all in our prayers know that mama is in a better place she's with her savior her God of akk Gods
God bless and stay strong,
Beverly, Jonayah and Dwayne
