Linda, I am grateful to have known you both as a coworker at social services and as a friend who also introduced me to many interesting people. I remember you showing us with great excitement a beautiful book you had bought for your (then young) daughters, and yes those marriage plans, etc.
You definitely walked your talk and then some, and I am so glad you were in my life as a bright example of a person who lived their life with attention to deep meaning.

I am Louise Ternay's sister (Priscilla) and I am saddened to hear about Linda's passing. I have fond memories of Linda as a child coming over to play with Louise - ice skating at Lapps Pond, going to her home on Mill Road where our mother's played bridge together. I will miss linda along with Louise....who just passed away last year from colon cancer. They always were so cute together. My condolences to the family.

I share the shock and sadness expressed by friends who loved our dear Linda. As only each of you knows, Mike, Hannah, Ted & Annie, our shared love goes all the way back to the beginning, when my dear Louise and your sweet wife and mother, were childhood friends.
I am so very sad for your loss.

So sad to learn of Linda's passing and illness. She never let her health battles deter her from her commitments to her family, friends, and community.

I was saddened to hear of Linda's passing. I knew Linda through Richmond meeting in the early 1980's and also ran into her through mutual friends (the Tolsons). She was such a sunny, peaceful person. I also have a fond memory of her with Mike and Baby Hannah at RFM one Sunday--Hannah was the first baby I had seen who could sit through an entire hour of Meeting for Worship--spoke volumes about her parents!

I was shocked to learn of Linda's death. We worked together at Richmond DSS in the foster family training unit. Her life certainly made a difference in this world. My thoughts are with you Mike. I remember Linda planning your wedding.

Noel and I are sorry to hear of Linda's death and wish all her family, especially Sue and Joel, our love and rembrances of the beauty of Linda's spirit. She gave freely of herself to others and such unselfishness is to be admired and greatly respected. Her life was one we can emulate. Linda was a good human being.

I knew Linda only through her sister, Sue, who shared with us Linda's work in Africa. From that we deeply admired and respected Linda. She will be missed.

Although I did not know you personally, I wanted to say that the world is certainly a sadder place without you. Just reading through the many ways you have helped during your time here, I know we need more like you.
