MOORE, Christine McCray Moore, 67, of Powhatan, Va., went home to be with her Lord on Sunday September 14, 2008. She is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Bobby E. Moore Sr.; daughters, Anita M. West (Curtis), Charity Moore (Cookie); son, Bobby "Bubba" E. Moore Jr. (Heather); grandchildren, Meghan West, Jared West, Bryce Moore, Hailey Moore and Erin Moore; sisters, Nellie Woodzell and Doris Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas James and Etta Robertson McCray; brothers, George "Bo," Edward, Raymond and Roger McCray; and sisters, Pauline Green, Bonnie Robertson and Louraine Hise. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Her funeral will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 17, at Skinquarter Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in her name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, Va. 22312.
