We just saw Bill mentioned in a La. Tech alumni magazine, and were so sorry to learn about Bill's death. My wife, Kimberley (Bruce), and I knew Bill at La.Tech right after he came to Christ. He had a powerful testimony of a changed life that God used in those years. We remember his ever-present smile very clearly. Our prayers go out to his family. Gary and Kimberley (Bruce) Kleinpeter

I am so sorry to hear of my friends passing. Bill was my neigbor during high school on Chaucer Lane and our parents were very good friends. He was so talented and has always had a very special place in my heart. I haven't seen Bill since his mother's passing, when I met his beautiful wife and children. My heart felt condolences go out to you and all who loved Bill. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Ginny, Matthew, Lauren, Ed, and family,

I was so shocked to hear of Billy's(as he was always called by all us cousins) untimely passing. I am Bill's first cousin,
with my mother, Sue, being the next under Uncle Sonny in age. In fact, I saw you Ginny, as well as Bill at Uncle Sonny's
graveside service in Benton on March 5, 2004, and that just
happened to be my mother, Sue's 80th birthday, if she had lived 9 more months. My heart rejoices that I got to see Bill as such a fine, handsome adult man that day. I will always remember the wonderful visit I had with both of you. It was great meeting you as well, Ginny. I want you all to know that we first cousins all thought the world of your loved one, Bill, and he will always be a precious memory to us. I just turned 62, and can hardly believe that my younger cousin is gone.
Please know that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers
this next year during your adjustment period to his being gone. God Bless all of you.

With Christian love,

Bill was an awesome person---so full of faith in God and enthusiasm for His work. It seems like yesterday when we enjoyed fellowship with him at Arrowhead Springs. May the Lord comfort you with the certainty of Bill's salvation and the joy that is his as he worships His Lord. Kathy and I will never forget him.

Dear Ginny, Matt and Lauren
Erica and I were in shock when we heard. Your dad was a wonderful man. The things that struck us most was his genuine smile that greeted you when you met him. It spoke of "I love to hear how you are really doin'"
And that was it, your dad had all the time in the world for you. And even though we only got to know him for part of our stay in the USA, we never forgot him (or any of you by the way). We remember his geniune-ness at Grace, when we visited you at Waterford, or when you visited us in Ashburn. I still have a picture of you dad playing with Jessica, crawling under the table to do so. What a great image about getting on the level with someone!!
You have our love and prayers, both now and in the future as you struggle in your loss

Much love
Paul, Erica, Jessica, Joshua and Joel Looyen

Dearest Ginny, Matt, and Lauren: Our hearts were shocked and broken to learn of Bill's sudden homegoing. His warm manner and gregarious smile welcomed us when we first came to Grace, and that trademark of his countenance will remain in our hearts forever. We remember our girls commenting that Bill was their favorite Sunday School teacher out of the many that they had in their junior high and high school years at Grace; he always made them feel welcomed and loved. May the Lord wrap His loving arms around you all in ways that we cannot even imagine.

My love and heartfelt prayers go out to all of you in the loss of Bill. Bill was my first cousin and close to me in age. We were buddies at the Rhodes reunions. My husband, Steve and I were also privileged to spend time with Bill while he was a student at Louisiana Tech. He was such a great guy and such a devoted servant of God. My heart breaks for you. Please know that the God of all comfort will be with you during these difficult days.
