Nora,
Will you ever know how much you meant to us all and how greatly you will be missed? I know there are many people at the VA that will never ever forget you because of your dynamic personality, hard work and dedication, and your loving kind ways. You were one of the most amazing women I have ever met and I know I have been in admiration of you as long as I've known what admiration is. You packed a huge punch in such a small frame! Your independence taught me so much, your kindness and friendship will be in my heart forever. I'm glad to know the thunderstorms will never be a threat to you again. Deeply saddened by our loss we will find the strength somehow to celebrate the life of such a wonderful women. I know Mom and Bob may never be able to go into "Joe's Inn" again and I know they will never find a friend like you again. My only wish is the world had more people like you, we miss you dearly but I know God is good and we will be together again, one day. With Much Love, Amy XOXOXO

Nora Jefferies will be missed by many fortunate people that she touched in their lives. She loved to laugh and joke. She took her responsiblities seriously. She was brought into my life though her caring and loving niece Cindy. I am very grateful to have had her in my life. I am sure she will be remembered fondly by all. God bless.

I'll never forget all the times you took me to the orthodontist during high school. Driving downtown and waiting for who knows how long until they had finished. Then us going to Picadilly, one of your favorites. I'll never forget the love you had for others and the love you had for your pets and even our pets. Your devotion to our family will never be forgotten. We love you very much and will miss your sweet, soft voice and contagious laugh. You will always be in our hearts "lil" Nora. We are so thankful to have had you in our lives. May God bless your family during this difficult time.

We will always cherish the memories you gave us, the love we all shared. The joking back and forth, going to sell Melvin on E-Bay because you didn't know what you were going to do with him. Little Matthew saying, "Polly you got some candy for me?" And if you did not have any goodies he made sure you knew you better get some or he was gonna be mad with you. You were there for us in so many ways and we are honored you chose to spend your last days with us in our home. I really believe you are at peace now, no longer in pain and I know in my heart we will be okay. It will just take time. You always had time for every one of us. You were like a shining light to our children Matthew and Catherine. I will never forget the memories of Matthew and you sharing cookies, gum, junk food together when he should have been in bed asleep. Or the sitting together on the sofa reading books together or Matthew trying to show you how to play his video game. You and I had no idea how to figure out those buttons so we just laugh. And you just being there for Catherine when she needed someone to listen to her. Because you knew it wasn't easy being a teenager. It was a privelege and an honor to have had this opportunity to get closer to you. I know Melvin was always your Mellipoo when he was younger, then when he became a grown man and had his son, Matthew became your sweetie who could do no wrong. I am so glad you got to spend time with us as a family. What an honor for you to have picked us to spend your final days with. So many memories with you that will never be forgotten. We know your in a better place with no pain but as Melvin says he can't help but be a little selfish because he can't touch you or joke back and forth with you. The wonderful memories of you will sustain us through our pain.
Love ya always,
Becky, Melvin, Catherine, and Matthew
