James Scott Obituary

SCOTT, James A. Jr., age 85, of Mitchellville, Md., formerly of Richmond, Va., went home to be with the Lord on September 17, 2008. Surviving are his daughter, Fran Denise Robinson (Walter K.) of Mitchellville, Md.; two sons, James A. III of Philadelphia, Pa., and Darrie G. Scott (Janice R.) of Newark, N.J.; grandson, Joshua D. Robinson; brother, Robert F. Scott; two sisters-in-law, Marian and Rev. Zenobia Scott of Richmond; devoted cousin, Angela McLinn; a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where the family will receive friends Wednesday, September 24, from 7 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 25, at 11 a.m. at Quioccasin Baptist Church, 9011 Quioccasin Road. Dr. Andrew Mosley officiating. Interment Pryor Memorial Cemetery. Online guest book www.scottsfuneralhome.com.
