I knew Dida from the day I moved in across the street from her and "Miss Hutch". That was back in 1979. She was a wonderful woman, a hard worker and a dear friend. She was always there to listen and help. She was like an Aunt to my sons. We always enjoyed an impromptu dinner at my house with the family. She will be missed by so many. She always told me there are worse things in life than death. I know she is at peace now.

I have known Dida since we worked together in the Radiology Dept. of the Emporia hospital in the '70's. I had not seen her in quite some time, but she was a dear sweet person that will certainly be missed by those who were closest to her.

I was very sorry to hear of Dida's passing. She was well thought of by all who knew her at the hospital and around town. She will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Dida was a great person and she always loved to eat at the TJ's Restaurant when I was there. She usually came in the afternoon and I would always sit and talk with her. She will greatly be missed.
