We all know Brother Bill has gone to a "better place". However, that place is now better BECAUSE Bill is there. He was the epitomy of a "Southern Gentlman", a true Christian and I was extremely honored to be able to call him my friend and Brother.

Dear Ellen Family,
I am so sorry for your loss, I was away last week and just heard of Bill's death. If there is anything I can do for you at the house in Tappahannock, please let me know. I didn't know Bill that well but knew he was a good, kind man and I will miss watching him cut his grass and will miss talking to him.

To the entire Ellen family....
I had the pleasure of knowing and working for Bill for the last 22 years. He will truly be missed by everyone. I learned many life lessons in value, friendship, work ethics and honor from Bill. He has a place in my heart forever and I will never forget what I learned. The world has lost a great man and I have lost a true friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I met Bill when I went to work for John Tepper at Norfolk Welders Supply in 1971. Through the years, Bill became a very large "Icon" in my life, a man of honor. He will be missed! Our condolences to you all.
