Meriwether Hurt

Dear Billy & Mary Jane:
I certainly held your mother in great esteem, no, great affection. Growing up next door, she was like a mother to me and did not hesitate to let me know when I had gotten out of line--a way of caring and expressing love. You and I had very special childhoods and to paraphrase a NY Senator, "it took a village." You were wonderful to her in her decling years and certainly fulfilled the 5th commandment in 24k gold actions. Sorry not to be with you at the service. Meriwether
