James Goodwyn Obituary

GOODWYN, James Elmo, 93, of Stony Creek, died Monday, September 22, 2008 at his residence. He was the son of the late Albert T. and Caroline Bass Goodwyn. He was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He is survived by two sisters, Bernice Pendleton of Alexandria, Va., and Margaret Warner of Richmond, Va. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2008 at the Goodwyn Family Cemetery, with the Rev. John Romaine officiating. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
