SHELTON, Garnett Bowden, of Bumpass, died Monday, September 22, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Alice "Kitty" Katherine Shelton; his children, William Shelton (Kay), Patricia Cunningham (Richard), Donald Shelton (Cathy), Maurice Shelton (Patricia) and Kathy (Sam); 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2008 in Little River Baptist Church. Graveside services will be private. The family will receive friends immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association, Little River Baptist Church, or your favorite charity. Arrangements by Lacy Funeral Home, Mineral, Va. Dear Patsy and Family,
A parent couldn't ask for more than what you all provided these past months. Thank goodness we know we will be reunited and that helps to bridge the gap until we meet again.
