Dear "Butch", Cindy, and the Wheel family,
Your mom was a bright and shining star and a beautiful spirit. I will surely miss our "filled with laughter", wonderful, telephone conversations.
So, in the quiet moments, when the hurt is hard to bear, May God's love become your shelter and may the beauty of precious memories be your everlasting comfort.
You and your family are all held in gentle thoughts and prayers.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Lillian Vaughan Poteate

Expressing sympathy in the loss of our lifelong neighbor and friend, Annie S. Wheel. Precious memories of her life goes back from the time we were children. She always played a special part in our life. She was our hairdresser, Sunday school teacher, and a good neighbor. She was a flower gardener who at times was in competition with our mother on who had the prettiest flowers and different types, it seemed as though they had their own flower club.
She was an often visitor to our home, and visited all the time when our parents were sick which were some of the same traits that her mother had. Ms. Annie and our mother had the same birth date (May 16th) which she never failed to call and tell her "Happy Birthday", this is our day. Those are just some of the good things we remember about her, things that we will always cherish and cannot be forgotten. We will miss her dearly and we feel your pain at this time.
