WINFREE, Marguerite M., 80, of Richmond, widow of Robert N. Winfree Jr., passed away September 22, 2008. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Clark; sons, Bruce and Russell Winfree; grandchildren, Mandy Bradley, Shannon, Kimberly and Ryan Winfree, and Robbie Clark; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Tucker and Chase Bradley, and Shyann Clemons; and a sister, Jean Winfree. Mrs. Winfree was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. Her family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Road, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday. Interment Maury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Providence UMC, 901 S. Providence Rd., Richmond, Va. 23236, or the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Richmond Chapter, 4600 Cox Rd., Suite 130, Glen Allen, Va. 23060.

Grandma you were such a light in my life. I love you so much, and although I'm sad that you have left us here on earth, I'm happy to know you are no longer suffering with the confusion of Alzheimer’s. You're with Popper and I'm sure yall are enjoying a good game of cribbage.

Marguerite you have now joined Robert and my mom and Elizabeth and Mamie. I know that you will be watching down over all of us all the time. you will be up there watching the kids grow up and you will be there watching over your great grand kids as they grow up and see them through all of their important lifes events. we love you.
