BOWLES, James G., departed this life September 22, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Della R. Bowles; son, Eric Lamont; sister, Lillian B. Cartlidge (John); niece, Alisa Cartlidge; daughter-in-law, four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; two aunts, and one uncle; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Chiles Funeral Home, 2100 Fairmount Ave., where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 12 noon with Dr. Alonzo L. Lawrence officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
