SEIBERT, Helen McLain Gilliam, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank Cunningham Gilliam and Helen Marr Slaughter Gilliam; and a sister, Carolyn Gilliam Robertson. She was the widow of William Cabell Seibert. She is survived by her daughters, Carol S. Jones and her husband, Bobby, and Gay S. Kistler and her husband, Dick. Bun Bun is also survived by seven grandchildren, Graham Jones and wife, Ann, Sally J. Snead and husband, Chris, H. Cabell Jones, J. Philip Jones II, Caroline J. Thompson and husband, Bill, K. Page Kistler and James C. Kistler and wife, Tracy. Bun Bun is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Rob and Curry Jones, Katharine and Stuart Thompson and Julia and Grace Kistler. She was a longtime member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, where she was President of the Women of the Church and held many other positions within the church. She was recently a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church. She was a Registered X-Ray Technician and Head of the X-Ray Department at McGuire Clinic of old St. Luke's Hospital for a number of years, where she truly loved caring for people. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2008 in Hollywood Cemetery. Remembrances may be sent to St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 12291 River Road, Richmond, Va. 23238, or the charity of your choice.

Her friends and "family" here at SOUTHERLAND PLACE will greatly miss Bun Bun. She was every inch the lady in her dress and manners. We not only loved Bun Bun but her daughters Gay and Carol too. We love ya Bun Bun!
